After a slow first few innings, the Mugs found themselves clinging to an early 2-1 lead.  But with two outs in the top of the fourth, heroes Brian Pietryka, Morgan Pietryka, and Jess Wilson loaded the bases to set up slugger Dave Packer for some of his renowned janitorial services.  Packer promptly responded by depositing a triple down the first base line, teaching the 7th Graders a limp wrist doesn’t hurt his chances when he’s digging in the box.  Rookie Brent Sauer tacked on some extra credit, following Packer with an RBI single to up their lead.  Meanwhile, the Mug defense played solid, making sure the 7th Graders understood recess was no longer in session.  Newcomers D’Anna Fluharty and Jeannie Dobruck led the way, giving out lessons with their strong up the middle play.  Sure handed veteran Katie Mills contributed with some highlight reel catches as well, showing why Rowles are meant to be followed.
