A Bunch of Mugs (1-0) opened the Fall 2008 KLOB season with a bang, wasting
Drunk Again & Looking To Score (0-1) by a 13 to 1 margin. The Mugs are now 5-3-2 all-time on opening day.
There was no drama in this one, Drunk Again got trashed by the Mugs right
from the start. Newcomer Christy Zingarelli was one of nine Mugs to turn in perfect games at the plate and the Mugs’
offense easily chugged along throughout the night. Sluggers Brent Sauer and Jason Budden each had home run shots, topping
off a barrage of scoring in the first two innings of the game. It didn’t take long for the Mugs to figure out
Drunk Again had all they could tolerate and began taking it easy before things got too out of hand.
Be there next week when the Mugs look to relieve themselves of A Burning
Sensation. Game time is set for 6:30 PM on Utz’s Field 1.
