Notching another win under their belts, A Bunch of Mugs (2-0) prevented
A Burning Sensation (0-1-1) from getting under their skin, easily handling them with a nine run defeat.
Hot footed Aaron Ricks helped the Mugs wrap it up early, twice discharging
key base kicks that allowed speedster Morgan Pietryka to score with ease. Defensively, the Mugs remained stiff.
Taking to the rubber, pitcher Brian Pietryka helped keep the bases clean most of the night. Surehanded Suketu Sonecha
and Jason Budden backed him up, each hauling in catches to douse Burn threats.
Next week, the Mugs turn their attention to C.U.N.ex.T.hursday. Game
time is set for 8:10 PM on Utz Field 1.
