On a frigid Thursday night at Utz Field, A Bunch of Mugs & A Pitcher (2-1)
dumped a 6-1 decision on Wasted Already (0-3). The victory was never in doubt; the Mugs had this one in the bag from the very
beginning.
Arguably their most dominating defensive performance in the past two years, the
Mugs disposed of Wasted runners with relative ease. Pitcher Mike Randolph and strong armed Dave Packer led the charge, tossing
more than a handful of the Wasted kickers out. Meanwhile, the Mug offense littered the field posting four runs in the first
two innings while coasting to a commanding lead. But the highlight of the night belonged to the elusive Eric Mack who epitomized
the Mugs determination to reach base in a way no words can truly justify.
The Mugs look to continue their winning ways next week when they pay a visit to
6th Grade Revenge. Game time is set for 8:10 PM on Canton's Utz Field 3.
